Something Wicked (new) This Way Comes!!!
Vintage Vamp is happy to announce a new line of jewellry/body wear for this season!!!
With the development of the "Chainbelt Necklace" November 2012, the "Body Harness Collection" was inspired. Because the "Chainbelt Necklace" can be worn in a variety of different ways, necklace, belt and harness, I decided to develop the idea of the body harness a little further.
Here is what became of the development:
The Hanging Cross Drape (high)
The Hanging Cross Drape (low)
Please visit Vintage Vamp Clothier on Facebook to view more styles... and look for more to come!
Vintage Vamp will be selling in Berlin at the Voodoo Market for Weihnachten on Dec. 7th from 11:00 until 19:00 at the Urban Spree on Warschauer Straße in Friedrichshain near the S-Bahn station.
Looking forward to meeting you there!!!

Working with Clara Kaesdorf - Local Berlin Fashion Designer
Clara Kaesdorf, a Berlin fashion designer, has been working on a collection for her Pop-Up Store in Steglitz, Berlin. She designs her own printed fabrics and created unique, yet accessible, wearable art for women and men. I am lucky enough to work with Clara, constructing A-line skirts in 3 of her different fabric designs. For a look at what she is doing follow this link:
Clara Kaesdorf
Her Pop-Up Shop is open for the next 3 months, so Berliners, go have a look!

"The Convertible" - The Belt That Longed to be a Necklace Too.
I think I have as many belts as I do shoes, necklaces, purses, hats... *a long trailing list continues...*
I am always layering up accessories close to the point of too much, but I know when to stop. ;)
I was inspired by a belt I had seen at a festival and I thought, hmmm... I could make that, why should I buy it? So! I went to the nearest market in search of some good quality chain to attempt my first "layered" belt. With a wonderful pile of shiny, new chain, I set myself to work and came up with this:
After trying it on, I thought about it a little and realized it would *also* make a wonderful necklace.
I have since this first sample made 3 more variations including gold chain as well as the silver and black featured here. Somehow it came to my mind that it should be called "The Convertible". It kinda stuck. :)
Stay tuned... I also have a wonderful idea for a body harness... :3
